Nothing gets me more excited , or inspired, than seeing a jumble of unwanted, unworn jewellery waiting to be transformed . I'm particularly drawn to beads, brooches and oversized earrings of every shape, size and hue, especially ones that are deemed dull or dated. I love disassembling everything in order to match and mismatch them into something totally different.
It's this process of reimagining a collection of seemingly unrelated items into something totally different that really gets my creative juices flowing. And then, when the inspiration has been realised, I'm very happy. I love standing back and seeing an unusual one off necklace that I know can't be bought anywhere else. I've turned something unwanted into something desirable.
